Hey Justin, I was disgusted as well and usually am by how much people can spend on unimportant things. But…to be fair they (V. Fair) really don’t have any clue as to how much all of it cost. It was all an estimate (as noted at the end of the article). Also, most famous folk are given freebies all the time. The fact that Oscar de la Renta’s dress is being recognized gives them attention (so they may have given this to Cindy McCain as a way to advertise, etc). We don’t know about any of the jewelry as far as how long it’s been around in the family and if it’s real or borrowed jewelry because famous folk can do that too.

So, yeah, it’s gross that people spend so much money on stuff, but to me it’s also annoying that ripping on people without the facts is okay and it was done on their blog…I mean c’mon, like they said, look at their advertisers. Anyhoo…It was an interesting thing to look into, just not full of the facts I was looking for.

Hope you guys have a great weekend, talk to ya later 🙂 Sus
